Since becoming a Broker at the Wrightsville Beach Intracoastal Realty office Michelle has received several professional designations. To better understand what luxury home buyers are looking for Michelle is an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, ALHS. Being a specialist ensures she offers a high level of service unique buyers’ needs before making a luxury investment. Michelle is also a Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource, SFR. This additional education allows Michelle to better work with buyers and sellers of short sale properties and keeps her up with current market conditions to offer her clients the best possible service. Most recently Michelle became a Seniors Real Estate Specialist, SRES, where she gained a deeper understanding of the real estate needs and desires of customers age 50 and over.

Michelle is a strong believer in doing the right thing. Honesty and integrity are important values that she uses daily. It is evident in Michelle’s work ethic as well as the service she provides for the community. While working hard for clients, Michelle also balances her time to stay involved with many local organizations, including American Heart Association Heart Walk Co-Chair for over 5 years, Women’s Impact Network Membership Chair, and is very involved with Wrightsville United Methodist Church. She is a Leadership Wilmington Alumni and was commissioned in 2015 to be a Stephen Minister.

When Michelle isn’t working you may find her boating, walking, playing tennis, traveling, enjoying wine or perhaps driving one of her American muscle cars.

Her relationships don’t end when the keys are handed over. Michelle makes it a point to help people moving to the area get acclimated to the area and find groups and people with similar interests and hobbies. Whether you are buying, selling, or investing, know that Michelle and her team will go the extra mile for you!

    Patti Santomassi

    Patti Santomassi

Having lived in Wilmington from 2006 to 2008 at which time my husband and I decided to move back to Darien, CT where we remained for four years.  During those years, we opened a successful restaurant, however, Wilmington came calling back to us.  In 2012 we decided to make Wilmington our home once again.

Upon our return, my husband and I went into private business.  We were the past owners of Beach Bagels as well as the Donut Inn.  Having been in the food business for over 14 years, we decided it was time for a change and to pursue other business ventures.  During this time, I was given the opportunity to pursue my personal career in Real Estate.

We have two sons; one is in Cape Fear Community College and the other is in Cape Fear Academy.  Our lifestyle has provided the opportunity to make contacts with many families in the community who were either buying a new home or selling a home.

We currently reside in Landfall and are active members of the Landfall Country Club, where we enjoy playing golf and tennis as well as enjoying many of the other club activities.
